Small Business Deal Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of ASI Environmental Technologies, Inc. of Ludington, Michigan to an individual investor.
Founded in 1994, ASI Environmental Technologies specializes in environmental remediation projects and offers a wide range of services including commercial and industrial real estate transaction projects, soil and groundwater investigations, and the design and construction of groundwater remedial systems. The Company is an approved State of Michigan contractor and Federal government contractor, with the State of Michigan as its largest customer.
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted ASI Environmental Technologies as government contracting for environmental remediation saw substantial reductions. In light of this challenge, business owner Chris Bade engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to facilitate the sale of the Company, as Chris was also seeking to pursue retirement.
ASI Environmental Technologies was acquired by the individual investor, Michael Walding. Michael previously serves as the Vice President of a landscape company, in Holland, Michigan. The Company specializes in geotechnical site work and environmental landscape design, construction, and project management. Michael is well-positioned to leverage his extensive skill set as he manages the next phase for ASI Environmental Technologies. The Company will continue the environmental remediation work in the northern lakeshore areas.
With the pandemic’s effects now receding, the company is poised for a brighter future. Government-funded environmental remediation projects are once again gaining momentum, and ASI Environmental Technologies is on a trajectory to reclaim the higher profitability it enjoyed prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.
