The franchise serves the light industrial, office services, skilled trades, and medical professional industries.
Mark Ivaska acquired Express Employment Professionals of Kalamazoo in 2020. During his three years of ownership, Mark steered the franchise to achieve significant growth. Looking to shift his focus to other business ventures, he engaged Small Business Deal Advisors to assist with the sale of the Company.

Heath is local to Kalamazoo and has spent the last two decades working in the medical equipment manufacturing industry for companies such as Medtronic and Stryker. Seeking a fresh challenge after years in his respective industry, Heath’s interest in pursuing business ownership led him to pursue an acquisition of Express Employment Professionals.
Heath stated, “I became interested in pursuing an acquisition of Express Employment Professionals after learning more about the franchise and its company culture. I believe this franchise is a great fit for me, and I look forward to further building upon the excellent foundation that Mark Ivaska has established over the last three years.”
